Green Pleasure Juice

I have to admit, that I have recently been neglecting my daily green juice feasts. Partially because it is winter time here in Dubai and I have been craving more warming foods and drinks and secondly, my busy working schedule and lots of time out of home are to blame. After a short break, this is certainly one of my favourites for many reasons. Besides apples and nuts, I am able to collect all ingredients from our garden so I am privileged to eat all veggies at their peak nutritional value, without loosing a single vitamin through lengthy harvesting and transportation process, therefore the time from ‘soil to mouth’ is kept to an absolute minimum. Just remember to drink your juice as soon as you make it, so there is no time for oxidation to take place! Sip on it slowly and enjoy the life energy going through your veins nourishing your blood, tissues and organs! Banana Mint Smoothie

If you are looking for a delicious drink and breakfast at the same time, or perhaps recovery drink after your exercise, this Banana Mint Smoothie is the way to go! Pack it with soaked nuts, organic yogurt or kefir, maca powder, matcha, cocoa nibs, raw chocolate…..you name it!The choice is yours! Green Detox Delight

If you are lucky enough to be an owner of one of the masticating juicers, than this juice should be on the top of your list and you should have it at least 3 times a week. It is packed with folate, calcium and vitamin C. All herbs are detoxifying, neutralising and deodorising. The more you add, the more efficiently will your body expel those stubborn toxins you have accumulated. Kick start your day by loading up on 4-6 recommended portions of vegetables in one single glass of this juice, rather than biting through your salads 3 times a day.  Remember to drink your juice within 20 minutes to receive the maximum of nutrients, sip it slowly to allow digestive enzymes in your saliva mix with the juice and most importantly, always add few drops of your favourite oil (olive oil, walnut oil, flaxseed oil,…etc.).
